Abstract

Two-dimensional problem of thermoelasticity in the case of constant temperature for the circular
piecewise-homogeneous plate with cracks is considered. The systems of singular integral equations
of the first and second kinds of the specified problem on closed (contours of inclusions) and
open (cracks) contours, with excluded boundary of the circular plate are constructed. Numerical
solution of the integral equations in the disc containing an elliptical inclusion and cracks was
obtained by the mechanical quadratures method. Influence of thermophysical and mechanical
properties of an inclusion on the stress intensity factors at the crack types was investigated.
